Akira Inoue was born on 10 December 1928 in Kyoto, Japan. He was a director and assistant director, known for Zatoichi's Revenge (1965), Showdown at Night's End (1964) and Pinwheel Hamakichi's Spell 2 (1982). He died on 9 January 2022 in Kyoto, Kyoto, Japan.
