五十嵐麗

Biographie

Rei Igarashi (五十嵐麗) is a Japanese voice actress born on January 9, 1963, in Fuchu, Tokyo. Her cool, restrained delivery suits mature women with complicated loyalties, and her range runs from stern mothers to icy antagonists and faintly neurotic supporting parts.

She began working in anime in the mid-1980s with roles in Attacker You! and Armored Trooper VOTOMS, and continued through the 1990s in Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight, Shadow Skill and Serial Experiments Lain, where she voiced Miho Iwakura, Lain's mother.

Her best-known role is Precia Testarossa in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series, a grief-stricken, obsessive mother whose choices destroy her; she later reprised the part in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha: The Movie 1st. Other credits include Kuroha Diana Shiratori in Eden of the East, Ryoko Naruse in Shangri-La, Nike in Appleseed: Ex Machina, Misha in Lupin the Third: Operation: Return the Treasure, Kanzeon Bosatsu in Saiyuki Gaiden, Theresa Rapual in Black Clover and Bertha Lamprogue in The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World.

She remains active, with roles including Kyōko Kagami in Eternal 831 and Kou Kenshū in Though I Am an Inept Villainess (2026). TMDB currently lists 41 credits.
