Biographie

Nishanth R. was born in Coimbatore, India. He spent his childhood years in the nearby metropolis of Chennai (during which time he authored and published the epic historical fiction novel 'The Fated Sunset') before making the leap to Los Angeles to pursue film. He now works as a director and content strategist for the independent production company Media RED.

Nishanth's solo filmmaking efforts, including the short films 'Indian in a Box' and 'Phil Gunderson Teaches Screenwriting', have received acclaim. His feature directorial debut, an Indian tech thriller titled 'Money Mobile', is in pre-production, with veteran Hollywood creative John Altschuler ('Silicon Valley', 'King of the Hill') attached to produce.
