Adam Wade Gontier was born May 21, 1978, in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. He is the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and main songwriter of Three Days Grace. Many songs he has written deal with his struggles and problems he has overcome, such as drug addiction and conflict with his father.
